Located about three and a half hours drive from Fez, Jbel Ayachi is a summit of the High Atlas, 3,757 m above sea level. Overlooking the city of Midelt (in particular), the Jbel Ayachi offers a majestic landscape where valleys and hills are covered with snow until June.
To climb the summit of Jbel Ayachi, it is advisable to be a knowledgeable hiker, have notions of climbing, and be accompanied. For this exceptional walk, it is also advisable to leave at dawn, from Tatiouines. The hike is not easy but the view from the top is a priceless reward.
