Le cirque de Jaffar : An expedition in the heart of a raw nature

Far from the seaside resorts of the coast, the Cirque de Jaffar is one of the most difficult to access sites in Morocco. If you want to experience this expedition, consider renting a car in Fez to get to the starting point in Midelt.

South of Fez, there is a region of Morocco little frequented by tourists. However, this one has a lot to offer: the beauty of the authentic villages, the ascent of the Jbel Ayachi and the expedition to the circus of Jaffar. The latter is a raw and very well-preserved natural place. For good reason, the circus of Jaffar is very difficult to access. To get there, you must leave the village of Midelt, in 4x4 only and preferably in summer. The road is long and rocky, and the cliffs are steep, but it's worth it. The Jaffar Circus offers breathtaking views.

To go to the circus of Jaffar (in 4x4), it takes about three to four hours to drive from Midelt. For this shipment, it is therefore necessary to plan a whole day and provide a small package.

The little advice Dollar Maroc: rent a cheap car in Fez to go to Midelt, from where you can go on an expedition to the circus of Jaffar.
