Jbel Sirwa : Lunar landscapes not far from Ouarzazate

Nestled between the High Atlas and the Anti-Atlas, Jbel Sirwa is an ancient volcano dating from the Pliocene era, thus more than five million years old. Formed by the accumulation of lava flows, the Jbel Sirwa rises to more than three thousand meters above sea level and is characterized by its many dikes and pellets.

The Jbel Sirwa is a must-see place. The different seismological variations and the height of the peaks form a lunar and mysterious landscape.
